The dream act has been approved by Illinois and the rest of the nation is waiting. many children enter the US and they didn't have a choice to say no or this is not the way to come in. the decision that their parents made to help the grow up safe and get a good education is the same choice that is holding them back. whether they are super intelligent or just an average Joe or Jane trying to become a mechanic or an accountant they will not be able to do so. after they pay ridiculous amounts of money to to the college they went to and graduated at the top percentile of their class they are still looked upon as second class human beings better yet they receive the your not part of this country so all the time you spent getting an education was and is worthless and you cant get licensed.
Illinois is changing that, if you live in Illinois and went to high school there for 3 years and came into the US under the age of 16 with your parents you can now enter college in Illinois and at the end of 2 years you will be eligible to become a 6 year resident depending upon what their standards are and remain. By the way I have a feeling that these people are just trying to sway the people over with a lot of promises and a lack of implementations. Simply because the election is in a year and Mr. Obama and these republicants want to win by getting the immigrant public to be in their favor.
I hope this works out and if you are in this situation I am sorry, i would change that if i was in charge. God Bless and never quit in the fight against mediocrity.
